On June 24, MTU Maintenance announced a 30-year lease to expand its North American operations at AFW, committing $120 million to modernize its 43,000 square meter facility. The site, formerly known as MTU Maintenance Dallas, will be renamed MTU Maintenance Fort Worth on September 1 and is projected to create 1,200 new jobs locally.
