FLYYO Adopts CISEFA’s Training Management Software

FLYYO Adopts CISEFA’s Training Management Software to Enhance Crew Training
Romanian airline FLYYO has integrated CISEFA’s Training Management System (TMS) across its entire training operation, aiming to improve efficiency, compliance, and oversight. The airline now employs CISEFA’s Complyance software to manage crew qualification training, compliance tracking, and performance evaluations for all personnel. This adoption aligns with industry standards such as Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence-Based Training (EBT).
Streamlining Training Operations with Complyance
The implementation of Complyance has enabled FLYYO to transition to a fully electronic, paperless workflow. According to Marc-Yves Essone, Crew Training Manager at FLYYO, the system has transformed the management of training activities by providing real-time monitoring of events across the entire instructor community, regardless of location or time zone. This centralized data flow eliminates the need for direct instructor contact to obtain updates, ensuring timely and continuous oversight of every training event.
The training department utilizes Complyance to track qualification expiries, generate comprehensive reports, and schedule upcoming sessions. Instructors and evaluators benefit from the Complyance iOS app, which supports both online and offline recording of performance data to maintain training standards. Trainees have direct access to their records, flight information, training schedules, and courses, and can upload essential documents such as medical certificates, passports, and licenses directly into the system.
Challenges and Industry Context
While the adoption of CISEFA’s software represents a significant advancement for FLYYO, the transition involves challenges. Integrating the new system with existing workflows, managing employee adaptation to new processes, and providing thorough staff training are critical to fully realizing the software’s potential benefits.
This move reflects a wider industry trend toward digital workforce management solutions. The global market for such software is growing robustly, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.06%. FLYYO’s adoption of CISEFA’s TMS may encourage competitors to upgrade their own training management systems to remain competitive.
Xavier Bernard, Chief Visionary Officer at CISEFA, expressed pride in supporting FLYYO’s growth and success, emphasizing the partnership’s focus on continuously improving training quality under the leadership of Captain Marc-Yves Essone.
As FLYYO advances through the integration process, the airline is positioning itself at the forefront of digital transformation in crew training, setting new standards for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance within the aviation sector.
