Bonus Tech Services Receives FAA Part 145 Approval
Bonus Tech Services (BTS), a subsidiary of Bonus Tech (BT) and a member of the Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) network, has officially secured FAA Part 145 certification. This milestone, announced from BTS’s Miami facility, marks a significant advancement in the company’s aviation maintenance capabilities and reinforces its commitment to operational excellence and stringent quality standards.
Expanded Capabilities and Service Offerings
Bonus Tech has long been recognized for its expertise in engine teardown services across a wide range of engine models, including the CFM56, GE90, CF34, CF6, V2500, PW2000, PW4000, Trent 700/800/900, and RB211. With the new FAA Part 145 certification, BTS is now positioned to expand its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, thereby enhancing its ability to optimize engine asset management for its clients.
David Lamoureux, CEO of Bonus Tech Services, Inc., highlighted the importance of this certification, describing it as a pivotal achievement that complements the company’s existing teardown operations. He emphasized that BTS’s strategic focus remains on continuous capability growth and service enhancement to meet the evolving demands of the aviation industry.
The expanded service portfolio now includes comprehensive engine support such as QEC inventory management, borescope and visual inspections, and engine preservation. These services are designed to maintain engines at peak performance and reliability. Beyond engine maintenance, BTS also offers detailed inspection and tagging of serviceable modules and parts, ensuring that every component meets rigorous quality and dependability standards.
BTS’s operations are supported by advanced technology and a highly skilled technical workforce, enabling the delivery of customized solutions tailored to the specific needs of each customer. This approach underscores the company’s dedication to precision, reliability, and customer satisfaction, positioning BTS as a leader in engine and component maintenance.
Market Position and Industry Implications
The FAA Part 145 certification significantly enhances Bonus Tech’s credibility and strengthens its competitive position within the global aviation maintenance market. While competitors may pursue similar certifications or expand their service offerings, the initial industry response to BTS’s achievement has been notably positive. The certification is widely regarded as a clear indicator of Bonus Tech’s commitment to quality, innovation, and leadership in aviation asset management.
As BTS continues to develop its capabilities and broaden its service range, the company remains focused on setting new benchmarks for excellence in aviation maintenance and support services.
