The Boeing Company continues to assert its position as a global leader in aeronautical manufacturing. Its net sales are diversified across several key markets, reflecting the company's broad operational scope. Defense, space, and security constitute the largest segment, accounting for 46.3% of net sales. This division encompasses military aircraft and mobility systems, including warplanes, helicopters, and air defense missiles, alongside support services such as logistics, engineering, maintenance, and training. Additionally, Boeing's space equipment portfolio includes satellites and launch infrastructure.
Commercial aviation represents 30.4% of Boeing’s net sales. Beyond the production of commercial aircraft, the company provides spare parts and delivers comprehensive technical support, maintenance, and engineering services to its customers. The remaining 23.3% of sales derive from services, which cover logistics and supply management, engineering, maintenance, modification, and training. This segment also includes commercial and private aircraft financing as well as aircraft equipment leasing activities.
Geographic Distribution of Sales
Boeing’s net sales are predominantly concentrated in the United States, which accounts for 53.8% of total revenue. The company maintains a significant presence in Asia, contributing 18.4% of sales, followed by Europe at 12.8%. Other regions include the Middle East (7.8%), Canada (2%), Oceania (1.8%), Africa (1.8%), and various other markets making up 1.6%. This geographic distribution underscores Boeing’s extensive global reach and diversified customer base.
