McCullough also emphasized that the Global 8000 will be the fastest and longest-range purpose-built business jet ever produced, combining cutting-edge innovation, superior performance, and exceptional comfort to elevate the business aviation experience.
Recent milestones include a series of test flights to Europe conducted by Bombardier’s Flight Test Centre in Wichita, Kansas. David Murray, executive vice president of manufacturing, IT, and operational excellence, confirmed that the first production aircraft is progressing steadily through final assembly and remains on track to meet the company’s ambitious targets. Murray praised the dedication and expertise of Bombardier’s engineering and production teams throughout the manufacturing process.
Design and Market Position
The Global 8000 is engineered to deliver a range of 8,000 nautical miles and a maximum speed of Mach 0.94, positioning it at the forefront of the ultra-long-range business jet segment. The aircraft will feature four distinct living spaces, a separate crew rest area, and the longest seated cabin length in its class, offering unparalleled luxury and comfort.
