Peach Boosts Efficiency with NAVBLUE’s Advanced Digital Solutions
Expanding Partnership to Modernize Flight Operations
Toulouse, France, 28 May 2025 – NAVBLUE, a prominent provider of aviation software, is enhancing its collaboration with Peach, a leading Japanese airline, to further optimize flight operations through cutting-edge digital solutions. Building on an existing partnership that includes NAVBLUE’s Mission+ FLIGHT, N-Flight Planning, and N-Ops & Crew platforms, Peach has now adopted Mission+ DOC Manager, a cloud-based documentation management system designed to improve operational efficiency and modernize workflow processes.
Mission+ DOC Manager offers a user-friendly editor interface that allows for “Word-like” editing without the need for XML expertise, facilitating easier document creation and updates. The platform streamlines digital workflows, accelerates operational processes, and optimizes the management of Airbus flight operations documentation. It also supports the publication and maintenance of company manuals in Japanese, ensuring accessibility and clarity for Peach’s staff. Secure cloud-based storage enables seamless access to documents, while integrated tools such as the Ops Library Browser (OLB) and electronic Quick Reference Handbook (eQRH) publishers provide flight crews with immediate access to the latest operational data during flights.
Integration Challenges and Industry Implications
While the implementation of NAVBLUE’s advanced digital tools is expected to enhance Peach’s operational accuracy and efficiency, the airline faces challenges related to integrating these technologies into existing systems. Effective change management and staff adoption are critical to realizing the full benefits, alongside the necessary upfront investments. Industry analysts note that such modernization efforts may bolster investor confidence by demonstrating improvements in operational safety and efficiency.
In response, regional competitors may accelerate their own digital transformation initiatives or adjust pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness. The market for aircraft safety check automation is anticipated to double in value by 2034, reflecting a growing demand for innovative solutions like those provided by NAVBLUE.
Strengthening NAVBLUE’s Position in Japan
This expanded collaboration represents a significant milestone for NAVBLUE’s presence in Japan’s aviation sector, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of next-generation digital tools for airlines. Ichiro Nakagawa, Vice President of Flight Operations Standards and Engineering at Peach, emphasized the impact of the new system: “At Peach, we are constantly working to simplify and speed up our daily operations to ensure safe and efficient flight operations with limited resources. Mission+ DOC Manager has significantly streamlined the process of creating, updating, and distributing operational manuals by providing a centralized management platform. Its clear version control and review workflows have also improved communication with frontline staff. Moving forward, we aim to make even better use of the system to create manuals that are more user-friendly and easier to access on the ground.”
Briac Kerihuel, Chief Commercial Officer at NAVBLUE, added, “This new agreement with Peach further strengthens our long-standing collaboration, reinforcing our commitment to supporting their digital transformation. By continuing to provide innovative solutions, we help enhance their operational efficiency, compliance, and seamless information management.”
Company Profiles
Peach operates from six airports across Japan, serving 25 domestic and 15 international routes with a fleet of 36 aircraft. The airline maintains a strong focus on safety and quality, striving to be a preferred choice for travelers.
NAVBLUE, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus, delivers flight operations solutions and services to over 600 customers worldwide. Combining aircraft manufacturer expertise with agile software development, NAVBLUE aims to improve operational efficiency and sustainability within the aviation industry.
