The 16th edition of the Wings of Change Americas (WOCA) Conference is set to take place in Santiago de Chile on 8-9 April 2026, with LATAM Airlines serving as the host. Recognized as one of the most significant aviation industry gatherings in Latin America and the Caribbean, this event will convene over 400 leaders and stakeholders from across the region. Under the theme “Beyond Borders – Aviation as a Catalyst for Economic Transformation,” the conference will explore how the aviation sector, in partnership with government authorities, can spearhead transformative economic and connectivity advancements.

At the heart of the 2026 conference is the emphasis on strategic collaboration between aviation stakeholders and government entities. Discussions will focus on expanding regional connectivity as a means to bolster economic growth and enhance the global competitiveness of the aviation industry. By fostering these partnerships, the conference aims to highlight the potential for aviation to act as a driver of innovation and economic development throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Sustainability will be a central topic, particularly the challenges and pathways toward achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions. The Sustainability & Innovation panel will bring together industry leaders to explore solutions for reducing the environmental impact of aviation.
In addition to sustainability, the role of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming aviation operations will be examined. The growing importance of air cargo and logistics in facilitating regional trade will also be a focal point. The WOCA Conference will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Peter Cerdá, Regional Vice President for the Americas at the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
