Duncan Aviation Adds Kelly Otte to Airframe Service Sales Team

Duncan Aviation Strengthens Airframe Service Sales Team with Kelly Otte Appointment
Duncan Aviation has announced the addition of Kelly Otte to its Airframe Service Sales Team at the company’s comprehensive MRO facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. In his new capacity, Otte will support Falcon airframe operators by assisting in the planning of major maintenance events, offering technical expertise, preparing detailed service quotations, and coordinating maintenance schedules to ensure seamless project execution.
Extensive Experience and Career Progression
With a 25-year tenure at Duncan Aviation, Otte brings a deep well of experience and commitment to his role. He began his career in 2000 within the Paint Department, quickly advancing to a crew leader position. Subsequently, he led teams in the Flight Control Department before transitioning into Service Sales as a Sales Associate. This diverse background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations, spanning hands-on technical work to the complexities of project management and scheduling.
During his time as a Sales Associate, Otte honed his skills in managing project timelines, including the allocation of hangar space, labor resources, and coordination of multi-departmental jobs. These competencies are expected to be instrumental as he assumes the role of Falcon Service Sales Representative, where he aims to maintain the high standards associated with the Falcon team and enhance Duncan Aviation’s service capabilities.
Strategic Appointment Amid Industry Challenges
Otte’s appointment arrives at a critical juncture for the charter and maintenance sector, which is currently navigating increased market competition alongside challenges posed by taxation and tariffs. As competitors are anticipated to bolster their sales teams with similar strategic hires, Duncan Aviation’s move reflects a proactive effort to sustain and strengthen its market position. Industry analysts will likely observe how this addition influences the company’s customer acquisition strategies and overall competitiveness in the evolving landscape.
Outside of his professional commitments, Otte is a devoted family man and sports enthusiast. Residing in Wahoo, Nebraska, with his wife Britt, he is a proud father to three children: Katie, a nurse; Parker, a collegiate baseball player; and Brody, a high school athlete.
