Jayud Global Logistics Subsidiary Earns CAAC Certification for Drone Pilot Training

Jayud Global Logistics Subsidiary Receives CAAC Certification for Drone Pilot Training
SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 19, 2025 — Jayud Global Logistics Limited (NASDAQ: JYD), a prominent provider of cross-border supply chain solutions based in Shenzhen, has announced that its majority-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen Jiniu Aviation Services Co., Ltd., has been officially certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to conduct drone pilot training. This certification represents a pivotal development as Jayud accelerates its expansion into China’s burgeoning low-altitude economy.
Expansion into Low-Altitude Aviation Services
Founded in 2021 with Jayud holding a 51% stake, Jiniu Aviation operates out of Shenzhen’s Longgang District, offering a range of integrated aviation services including intelligent control systems and satellite remote sensing. The newly acquired CAAC certification authorizes the company to provide comprehensive drone pilot training programs encompassing hover, line operations, and commercial drone flight categories. This advancement enables Jiniu Aviation to broaden its service offerings and strengthen its position within the rapidly evolving drone sector.
Capitalizing on this certification, Jiniu Aviation has forged strategic partnerships with Guangdong Guangsheng Low-Altitude Aviation Services, a key state-backed entity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The subsidiary has also established collaborative training initiatives with institutions in Gansu and Jiangxi provinces, alongside securing contracts for specialized industrial applications such as facade cleaning and timber transportation. These projects have already demonstrated tangible results, including facade cleaning operations covering 100,000 square meters and the transport of 1,000 tons of timber cargo.
Strategic Outlook and Market Potential
The low-altitude economy in China is emerging as a significant growth sector, with applications spanning logistics, agriculture, emergency response, and infrastructure inspection. Jiniu Aviation’s expanded capabilities are positioned to complement Jayud’s core logistics business and capture opportunities within this dynamic market. Looking forward, Jayud intends to extend Jiniu Aviation’s training programs to 12 additional cities, including Xi’an, Lanzhou, Nanning, and Meizhou. Plans are also underway to develop a 5,000-square-meter youth research and education base dedicated to drone technology, AI robotics, and artificial intelligence training.
Furthermore, the subsidiary aims to introduce technical certification programs focused on aircraft assembly, debugging, and maintenance to address the growing demand for skilled drone technicians. The drone market in China is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 25.6% from 2024 to 2029, potentially exceeding 600 billion yuan ($81.9 billion) by 2029. With approximately 350 vocational colleges nationwide now offering drone application technology programs, institutional partnerships are expected to become a significant revenue source for certified training providers such as Jiniu Aviation.
While the CAAC certification enhances Jayud’s competitive positioning and may bolster investor confidence, the company must navigate challenges including regulatory compliance, market acceptance, and competition from established players in the drone logistics sector. Competitors are likely to respond by enhancing their own drone capabilities or forming new alliances. Notably, the CAAC certification also reflects a broader shift in global aviation standards, with potential for wider international recognition that could further strengthen Jayud’s standing in the evolving drone industry.
