Caspian Air Cargo Summit 2025 to Address Future of Global Logistics

Caspian Air Cargo Summit 2025 to Address Future of Global Logistics
Silk Way West Airlines is set to host the 10th Caspian Air Cargo Summit at the Baku Convention Center from September 22 to 24, 2025. Recognized as the premier airfreight and logistics event in the region, the Summit will bring together global leaders in cargo and logistics to engage in strategic discussions, explore investment opportunities, and unveil forthcoming projects that aim to shape the future of the industry.
Strategic Importance Amid Global Supply Chain Challenges
The Summit arrives at a pivotal moment for global supply chains, as the Middle Corridor emerges as a vital and secure trade route linking Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. Despite its growing significance, the sector faces considerable challenges, including tariff uncertainties, volatile fuel prices, and fragmented data systems that complicate logistics operations. These issues have led to a cautious investment climate in logistics technology, even as competitors seek to capitalize on acquisitions and technological innovations to maintain competitive advantages.
For nearly twenty years, the Caspian Air Cargo Summit—hosted by Silk Way West Airlines and organized by Euroavia International—has served as a key platform for executives, policymakers, and innovators worldwide. The 2025 edition will uphold this tradition by providing high-level networking opportunities, strategic insights, and business prospects for stakeholders across the cargo, transport, and logistics industries.
Silk Way Group’s Vision and Regional Development Initiatives
A central theme of this year’s Summit is Silk Way Group’s ambitious expansion strategy, underscored by multi-billion-dollar investments in Baku’s airport infrastructure, multimodal transport systems, and digital supply chain innovation. At the heart of these plans is the new international cargo airport within the Alat Free Economic Zone, slated to open in early 2027. Operated by SW AFEZCO, this facility will host the Silk Way Cargo Village—an integrated logistics platform that combines air, sea, road, and rail connectivity to facilitate enhanced trade flows across Eurasia.
Zaur Akhundov, President of Silk Way Group, emphasized the strategic importance of the project, stating, “Our vision is to position the new cargo airport as a central force in the future of global cargo logistics. The Caspian Air Cargo Summit is the perfect platform to present this strategic project and to engage with the industry leaders who are shaping tomorrow’s supply chains.”
Summit Agenda and Industry Engagement
The conference program will focus on the strategic rise of the Middle Corridor, the expansion of the Alat Free Economic Zone as a catalyst for multimodal growth, and innovations in digital supply chain management. Discussions will also address sustainable aviation and cargo operations, alongside new investment opportunities within Central Eurasia’s logistics sector. Sessions will confront pressing challenges such as economic volatility and the imperative for enhanced data integration across the industry.
The Summit’s format combines thought leadership presentations with direct business meetings, fostering both knowledge exchange and deal-making. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with decision-makers from over 40 countries, including representatives from leading global companies such as DSV, DHL Global Forwarding, Boeing, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Atlas Air Worldwide, ACL Airshop, Hactl, Kales Group, GFS, Cargoland by Liege, and Lödige Industries. Participants will explore investment-ready projects in one of the world’s fastest-growing logistics hubs, gain exclusive insights into Silk Way Group’s transformation roadmap, and identify partnership opportunities across all modes of transport.
