ExecuJet Belgium Completes First Heavy Maintenance on Falcon 7X
Milestone Achievement at Kortrijk-Wevelgem Facility
ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium has successfully completed its inaugural heavy maintenance check, known as a C-check, on a Falcon 7X aircraft. This significant milestone took place at the company’s heavy maintenance center located at Kortrijk-Wevelgem International Airport, which also serves as the home base for the customer’s aircraft. The completion of this complex maintenance task underscores the facility’s growing technical expertise and operational capabilities.
Matthijs Hutsebaut, regional vice president for Europe at ExecuJet MRO Services, highlighted that the Belgian center had previously conducted the pre-delivery inspection for the same Falcon 7X. He emphasized the longstanding relationship with the customer, reflecting sustained confidence in ExecuJet’s maintenance proficiency and service quality.
Expanding Technical Capabilities and Industry Impact
As a Dassault factory-owned organization, ExecuJet MRO Services holds certification to perform heavy maintenance on a range of Falcon models, including the Falcon 7X, Falcon 8X, and various Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900 variants. The successful execution of the C-check on the Falcon 7X marks a notable expansion of the company’s technical capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Dassault’s fleet across Europe.
This achievement also highlights ExecuJet’s dedication to regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, critical factors in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector. The accomplishment is likely to enhance the company’s reputation among operators seeking reliable and high-quality maintenance solutions. In response, industry competitors may intensify efforts to showcase their own maintenance credentials amid an increasingly competitive market.
ExecuJet’s success at its Belgian facility aligns with the company’s broader strategic objective to elevate service offerings and uphold rigorous standards throughout its global network.
