Executives, operations personnel, and flight teams from Hopscotch Air are actively engaged with Archer Aviation, conducting thorough reviews of existing operating frameworks while testing innovative mobility concepts. This collaboration enables Hopscotch Air to offer valuable feedback on the practical challenges and daily operational demands faced by air mobility providers. Andrew Schmertz, CEO of Hopscotch Air, emphasized the importance of this exchange, stating that their hands-on experience in regional air mobility offers significant value in shaping the future of the market.
Currently, Hopscotch Air operates approximately 1,400 revenue flights annually, primarily along the Boston-New York corridor, utilizing a fleet of SR22 aircraft. The company’s intention to collaborate with Archer was initially disclosed in a December 2025 SEC filing, associated with a $20 million fundraising round.
