Salil Gupte, president of Boeing India and South Asia, underscored the increasing dynamism of India’s startup ecosystem, emphasizing BUILD’s role in bridging entrepreneurs, incubators, investors, and academic institutions. He remarked on the program’s evolution over five editions, noting the enduring collaborations and partnerships that have emerged. “As we reach our fifth edition, it is encouraging to see the relationships and collaborations fostered through BUILD continue beyond the program. I congratulate this year’s winners and participants and thank our partners for being part of BUILD’s growth journey,” Gupte stated.

Since its inception, BUILD has attracted over 7,000 applications and supported more than 35 startups spanning aerospace and defence, technology, sustainability, and social impact sectors. The program has broadened its engagement with India’s innovation ecosystem by facilitating closer collaboration between startups and investors, including venture capitalists. Finalists receive mentorship from Boeing engineers and technologists, enabling them to refine and strengthen their business ideas.
