Sebastien Maury Named Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas at CALC Group

Sebastien Maury Appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas at CALC Group
Miami, Florida, August 2026 — CALC Group has announced the appointment of Sebastien Maury as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas. Maury brings over 27 years of extensive experience in the aviation industry, with expertise spanning aircraft leasing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), aftermarket services, aircraft and engine sales, asset management, business development, and customer relations across global markets.
A Proven Aviation Executive
Before joining CALC Group, Maury held the position of Sales Director for Latin America at StandardAero, where he managed turbofan MRO service sales to airlines and fleet operators throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. His career includes senior roles such as Global Aftermarket Sales at Spirit AeroSystems, Vice President of Marketing at Veling Ltd, and Managing Director at Altitude Consulting Group, where he provided strategic consulting to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), MRO providers, and airlines. Maury’s professional journey also encompasses leadership positions at QuickTurn Engine Center, Aerospace Asset Trading, Pratt & Whitney, Airbus, Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, Safran, and Barfield Inc. He began his aviation career in 1998 with Airbus as a Marketing Analyst, focusing on the Latin American air transport market.
Navigating a Complex Market Environment
Maury’s appointment coincides with a period of heightened market activity and increased scrutiny. Recent surges in stock markets, partly driven by circular transactions, have raised concerns among investors about potential market bubbles. This climate may affect perceptions of CALC Group’s leadership changes, as competitors could intensify their sales and marketing efforts or closely monitor CALC’s market positioning and financial health. Broader market dynamics, including Oracle’s recent stock decline amid apprehensions over artificial intelligence-related expenditures, may also prompt investors to reevaluate strategies not only within the technology sector but in adjacent industries such as aviation leasing and services.
In his new capacity, Maury is expected to leverage his extensive commercial network and deep industry knowledge to enhance CALC Group’s sales and marketing operations across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. His leadership will be critical as the company navigates a competitive landscape shaped by evolving investor sentiment and strategic responses from industry rivals.
